The Korea your guidebook missed
A street in Seoul

This is not a travel blog

It's Korea as I actually know it: the place I first knew as home, a place I left, missed, and came back to seeing differently. Written from the inside, not from a press trip.

Years working in travel, both in Korea and abroad, taught me that no two people want the same thing. There is no guidebook that fits everyone, and no single right answer.

So I write about the Korea I would actually recommend, from well-known places worth the attention to local finds that rarely make the usual lists, whether expensive or affordable, polished or ordinary. The kind of thing I would tell a friend before they booked. But places are only part of it. I also write about how people here live, what we eat, watch, listen to, and actually buy. Korea through travel, culture, music, media, shopping, and whatever else I can speak about honestly.

No borrowed lists, no tourist gloss, nothing added just to fill a map. Just Korea as I see it and live it.
